Got a call from someone named Samantha Davies, claiming to be from WDL Services, offering help to recover money from a timeshare. She said we’d need to pay a fee upfront to begin the process, which immediately felt dodgy. Since it was for an elderly family member, we asked her to send all details by email - still nothing, and it’s been ages. I looked online and found a WDL Services, but they’re based far away and don’t deal with timeshare stuff at all. Smells like a classic scam to me.
