Ugh, spam calls are the worst! I only ever answer if I catch a familiar voice or someone I actually want to talk to, otherwise I just let my answering machine take it. It’s saved me a lot of hassle, honestly.

I would advise against picking up calls from unfamiliar numbers. I've been inundated with annoying rang-a-lings from individuals claiming, "We've noticed you have outstanding debts," or "We're aware you're after a loan." Then there’s the classic "I’m calling from O2 but need to verify if you're on a contract or pay-as-you-go." Honestly, do they think I’m daft? If they genuinely worked for O2, they’d already have that info at their fingertips. It's become quite tiresome, as I frequently receive up to ten of these calls daily. I’ve taken to screening them and promptly blocking the culprits.

I’m on the TPS register but these lot have phoned me twice today! How are they even allowed to ring us? Would love to know how this happens.
