My MP advised me to share this when I raised my concerns about the sheer number of scam calls I’d been receiving. It’s clear scammers want to keep this quiet. If you don’t actually report these scams properly, don’t expect much to change. While notifying 7726, your mobile provider, Ofcom, or the companies the scammers pretend to be might do some good, these reports often don’t reach the police who can launch investigations.

This person won't stop ringing me. He began to leave a voicemail saying "This is Alex from the Solar Centre," but then he cut off the call! Later in the afternoon, he called again and I answered without even checking who it was - it was the same bloke! I just put the phone down. I got a call from this number just after 7 in the morning on Wednesday, the 18th of January, 2023. I let it ring without answering, but I later had a look at the caller’s number, which turned out to be 01455817655.

Then, this morning, Thursday, the 19th of January, 2023, at precisely 7.06 am, I was buzzed again, but this time from a different number, 01254384840. Once more, I didn’t pick up, yet I looked into who might be behind that number. I can't shake the feeling it's the same outfit, just from a different location, calling at such an early hour!
