I received a rather dodgy call the other day, likely originating from India, claiming that there had been some dubious activity detected on my account and that BT was about to disconnect my service. They rather insidiously prompted me to press 1 and divulge all my personal details along with a couple of passwords. It dawned on me how foolish I would feel staring at my reflection after falling for such a trick-utterly daft! My recommendation? Don’t engage at all-just hang up!
