I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, asserting they could help lower my phone bill. However, after reaching out to BT directly, they've confirmed that no one from their team has contacted me. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

A chap with an Asian accent called me up claiming to be from BT, mentioning that my phone charges would be slashed by 35%. I found it odd that they would call me directly, as I usually receive a letter for such notices. Just as I was about to ask more questions, he abruptly ended the call.
