5 monthsThis number called me pretending to be from a credit card company with a recorded message asking about a purchase I supposedly made yesterday. I just answered with a simple hello and the call ended immediately. I contacted both my banks afterwards and they confirmed they didn't make the call. The bank's advice is to never share any details over the phone. Instead, ring the number on the back of your card or dial 159, which is the UK’s national fraud line - they can link you directly to your bank.
