I'm not based in England, but I bought something from UK Amazon, from a place called Ickle Bubba. Not even a week later, I started getting loads of spam calls from a number with a UK area code. Seems to me they must've passed on my details, either Amazon or Ickle Bubba. Could just be chance, but I’m not convinced.

I got a call from someone speaking German but with an Indian accent trying to sell me stock trading stuff. He even knew my name! I told him straight away I'm not interested.

I got a call on my German number from a woman who asked for my name, and she actually knew it right. As soon as I told her, she just dropped the call. When I tried ringing back, it wouldn’t go through at all. Very strange.
