I got a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media, my internet provider - except I don’t even use Virgin! They said my router was acting up and needed urgent fixing, trying to make me believe there were issues with my service. It felt dodgy straight away, like a typical scam trying to trick me into giving personal info or access. Glad I didn’t fall for it!
