Honestly, it's hard to imagine someone almost tumbling down the stairs just 'cause the phone rang. If it's really important, they'll leave a voicemail (assuming you’ve got that set up), or they'll ring back. If neither happens, then it’s not worth worrying about!

This morning, 15th Jan, at about 8.45, I almost tripped down the stairs rushing to pick up the phone as it rang for ages. When I finally said hello, the person just ended the call straight away. I’m on edge waiting for some family updates, which is why I was so eager to get to the phone.

My mum got a call on her landline from someone claiming to be BT. They left a message saying if she wanted to reconnect her internet, she should press 2. Problem is, we don't even have BT internet! The message was from an American-sounding automated woman, definitely another scam.

Got a recorded call claiming to be from BT, but the woman spoke in a heavy foreign accent. She warned our BT internet would be cut off, so I just hung up before she finished. Pretty sure it's a scam and nothing to do with BT. Ironically, our internet did go down for a few minutes later that day. When I rang BT, they confirmed the number’s dodgy and definitely not theirs.

Watch out for these awful scammers! Over the past couple of hours today, this number rang me three times, but it's been months of this constant annoying behaviour. When I answered the first call, they just hung up, and the next two times it was a recorded message pretending to be from BT, threatening to disconnect my internet unless I pressed a specific key. It's so suspicious and obviously a total scam.

This number has called me a couple of times today, once early in the morning around 8.30, then again in the afternoon just before 3.
