3 yearsI got a call that sounded dodgy straight away - the line kept cutting out and they asked me to press 1 to verify weird charges on my card. Definitely a scam attempt to steal info. What made it trickier was the number looked like it was from my area code, which makes it seem legit. Funny thing is, these scammers don’t have much chance since my bank closed all the local branches here ages ago.
