They insisted that they were initiating a charge of £399 from my bank for an iPhone, which they deemed suspicious. They urged me to search something on Google, although they wouldn’t clarify why. It’s worth noting that Amazon doesn’t even possess my banking information! After a rather intense exchange, I decided to hang up. Surprisingly, the same bloke called me back on a mobile number, 07449 291818, attempting to pick up where we left off. To no one’s surprise, he got nowhere with me.
