I got a call from what sounded like a robotic American voice claiming to be from TalkTalk's tech team. It said my internet was going to be cut off soon. They asked me to press 4 to speak to an engineer. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

It's a total rip-off, honestly. If you accidentally pick up, just drop the call straight away because these guys are well known for being fraudsters.

I just ignored it and didn’t pick up.

I got a call from someone speaking with an American accent claiming they were from "my internet provider". They said my connection would be disconnected within 24 hours unless I followed their instructions, then asked me to press a button. Honestly, don’t follow that or push any keys, it’s definitely a scam.
