some woman with an indian accent phoned me, saying she was from bt tech support about my internet. she barely started explaining before i cut her off, telling her this was the third call i'd received today, and that i wasn’t convinced any of them were actually from bt. i even told her i'd seen the number on my caller id (which was right), and that i’d already reported todays calls. then she just hung up on me. i’ve blocked that number now.

Got a similar call just now from a different number. A woman with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from BT said there was a problem and that she’d connect me to her supervisor. Then a bloke with a very obviously made-up name, “Darren Morgan,” came on - sounded like he was trying too hard to sound British. I asked him for his BT contact details and an email, but he said he couldn’t give them. Didn’t bother wasting any more time and hung up straight away.

someone said they were from BT but I’m not sure if that was legit or just another scammer trying to mess with me.

some muppet called saying he was from bt openreach, banging on that others were using my broadband and i had to go on my computer and do what he said to stop it. i asked if it was a scam and he just told me to ‘f##k off you mother f##ker’. honestly, i was glad i'd wasted a few minutes messing with him. how come these slags are even allowed to carry on? and who the hell gives them a number starting with 01453??

Got two calls from this number within an hour and both times it was just silence. I've reported it to you and now I've gone ahead and blocked the number to stop any more annoying calls.
