BT - A woman attempted to inform me about a car crash that supposedly wasn’t my doing. Quite peculiar, considering I don’t even own a vehicle and have been cooped up at home for ages due to the pandemic lockdown. Definitely a scammer!

I received a call earlier today, but there was nothing but silence on the other end. I've decided to block the number.

I picked up the phone only for the caller to hang up straight away. Curious, I dialled 1471 to trace the number. Upon calling it back, however, I was met with an automated message stating that the number didn’t exist in their system. Quite baffling, really!

It appears that individuals using Virgin Media are receiving these nuisance calls quite frequently. I have a hunch they might be attempting to reroute your call to an expensive premium number. Steer clear of this and don’t be taken in!

I received a call allegedly from BT, claiming my internet service was going to be disconnected! What a load of rubbish and a total scam! Seriously, don’t engage with them—just end the call immediately!

I’ve just received a rather suspicious call purportedly from BT. They threatened to cut off my internet, and I instantly realised it was a con. I promptly hung up on the robotic voice. It's high time these annoying calls were dealt with. Just the other month, my sister almost fell for a different scam. The number in question is 01453092710.

I received a recorded call claiming to be from BT, warning that my internet service was on the verge of being cut off. Regrettably, my call blocking system didn’t manage to intercept this number.

Received a call on my Virgin mobile from someone with an American accent claiming to be part of the BT tech support team. They said my internet was due to be cut off today and instructed me to "press 1 for BT assistance or 2 to sever my internet connection." Quite sketchy if you ask me!

It seems that BT has gone ahead and terminated our line, despite the fact that we don't even use their services! I received a rather robotic message in an American accent about it.

Received a call from 01453092710, and it was one of those pesky automated voices. Honestly, I can't quite fathom what sort of number it was. Some chap claimed to be from BT, insisting they were about to disconnect my internet. However, they might manage the line, but my actual contract lies with a different provider. It's infuriating how these scammers persist in trying their luck!

Just had a rather peculiar call at half past two, but it was completely silent. I’m certain it’s one of those TalkTalk scams because my number’s ex-directory, and I typically only receive these types of calls. I’ve toyed with them before to see how far they’d go, but they always end up cutting the line! My partner says I really ought to find better ways to spend my time.

Much like the fourth comment, I'm being charged exorbitantly for a premium rate call, or maybe two, which is utterly absurd. I could press '1', but it would yield the same outcome, wouldn't it? Absolutely ridiculous!
