It appears that this call is rather unwelcome.

Received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be a technician from BT Openreach. This individual insisted that our internet had been compromised and warned us that our connection would be terminated within a day. They pressured me to press 1 to speak further about the issue. Sounds a bit fishy, if you ask me!

I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If the call is genuinely important, they’ll always leave a voicemail. If not, it’s usually just another scammer trying their luck.

Received a call from this number, but I didn’t pick up. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, which is quite telling. Now that I’ve read some feedback, I’m relieved I chose to ignore it!

Received yet another of those annoying pre-recorded messages from BT today, claiming that our internet has been compromised. That makes it the third one this day alone! Clearly a scam, and it's getting tiresome.
