The caller then claimed it was about an accident I had experienced, which was baffling since I, too, hadn’t had any mishaps. When I told him this, he inquired if perhaps someone else in the household had suffered an accident. I confirmed no one had. He mentioned that this could go back as far as 48 months, to which I firmly replied no. Then, without further ado, he hung up.
