This number has called me about five times within the last hour on my caller ID phone, and it's starting to get really annoying.

On 05/06/2014, at about 6:06pm here in Western Australia, I got a call on my landline from this number. The caller had an Asian accent and claimed there was an issue with my computer’s security. He told me to get online, but I was already connected. Then he asked what key was next to the CTRL key. I jokingly said it was the “don” key, the one with big ears. I overheard him speaking to someone else in the background, trying to figure out what the “don” key was. After a bit of confusion and arguing among them, the call ended abruptly. It was obvious he was trying to figure out what type of keyboard I had. Just earlier that evening, my partner had taken a call from 9927773456 at 5:47pm. She couldn’t understand the person and hung up straight away. Hopefully, this info is useful to someone else.

Picked up the call and it was definitely a scam. They were trying to trick me into letting a Trojan onto my computer by offering to fix some issue. The person on the line sounded like they were from India.
