So this caller had my old name and was asking if I owned the property. When I asked what the information was for, they suddenly said they couldn’t continue the conversation because of GDPR rules and just hung up on me. Seems like they were using some outdated list or something.

Someone rang me saying they were a surveyor from Cosy Loft. They kept asking for the owner by their first name, but oddly only mentioned the house’s name, not the address or number. When I asked who they were and why they were calling before giving any details, they just hung up. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

It took ages before the bloke finally answered. He wanted to talk to me by my name and said they’d been reaching out for ages. Complete rubbish, so I swore a couple of times and hung up. Got far more important stuff to deal with than dodgy calls like that.
