A vulnerable elderly gentleman received a call from what appears to be a dubious company claiming they were conducting a survey regarding necessary repairs. They have arranged a meeting for 10am today in Leckhampton, Gloucestershire. I've been attempting to cancel the appointment on his behalf, but the line was abruptly disconnected, leaving him understandably anxious and unwell. To the best of my knowledge, this survey firm is entirely unfamiliar to us, they lack a website and it seems like nothing more than aggressive cold calling tactics. I urge anyone in Gloucestershire to reach out to the local Trading Standards and notify them of this troubling behaviour, as they might be able to take action against such practices.
