Got a call yesterday about some industrial claim thing. I wasn’t really paying attention and just told the woman I had no clue what she meant, then hung up. Today, another call came from 01451504616 about updating an industrial ID index because apparently my records say I worked in a factory ages ago. I told her I've never worked anywhere like that, and she just ended the call. Both the numbers seemed local, which is why I picked up. If they ring again, I’ll try to ask more questions.

I picked up thinking it was a local call, but the woman on the line clearly didn’t have a local accent, though that doesn’t always mean much. She claimed to be from some ID Clinic, saying they were updating local records and insisted that I’d worked in some kind of industrial job (totally made up, by the way). I told her my number was on the TPS list and that what they were doing was illegal cold-calling, then told them to buzz off.

Got a call from this number earlier, claiming I qualify for some government compensation because I supposedly worked in a factory and wasn’t given any PPE by my boss! How on earth did they find that out? Plus, it’s not even true. When I asked why they were calling, they sounded a bit flustered.

I got a call from this number which looked local so I picked up. The caller said something about claiming money from the government if I’d been exposed to loud noise during my career. I explained I’d mostly worked on hospital switchboards, so maybe that counted. As soon as I mentioned that, they suddenly seemed uninterested and ended the call. Makes me curious how they even got my number in the first place!
