I've been bombarded with calls from this number and, quite frankly, they don't answer when I pick up. It's utterly annoying, especially since there's never any message left. I've had enough and have officially added them to my blocked contacts.

Indeed, it’s definitely Laithwaites! I’ve made it clear to them that I’m not keen on what they’re offering and requested to be taken off their mailing list. Yet, they persistently ring me up. Every time they do, I promptly block the number, which tends to do the trick for a month or so, but then they inevitably ring from a different number. It’s rather tiresome, to say the least!

It seems a chap from the Sunday Times Wine Club is currently telecommuting.

I chose not to pick up the phone since it came from an unfamiliar number, and my security application flagged it as potentially fraudulent.

I reckon that Laithwaites only ring up folks who have either shopped with them before or are currently on their list, so if it’s indeed them, it’s not quite the same as your typical cold calling scenario. From my experience, if you straightforwardly let them know you're not keen, they seem to back off without any hassle.

Laithwaites Wine! Absolutely infuriating!

I've received a call from Laithwaites Wines, attempting to tempt their clients with the latest wine promotions.

It's wise to exercise caution and steer clear of engaging with that caller.

It rang a couple of times and then went silent. I haven’t a clue who it might be.
