didn’t even get a proper reply, just loads of noise in the background. my phone showed the number was from gloucester but when i finally got someone on the line they said they were from carphone warehouse and got annoyed saying i’d hung up on them earlier when they called from a different number. definitely blocked now. this person seems sketchy and a right pain, best just ignore these calls!

I had a rather amusing telephone call from a so-called Nigerian royal who claimed he required my bank details to deposit some funds. Apparently, he’s promised me a cool million in return! I couldn't help but share the good news with my husband, Barry. I said, "Pack your bags, love, we’re heading to Benidorm!" What a delightful turn of events, eh?

I picked up the call, but then they hung up on me.

We received an enticing offer for a brand-new mobile phone at just £25 a month. We requested further details, but after poring over the information provided, we came to realise we might have been targeted by scammers. Consequently, we contacted our bank to freeze our card and also reported the incident to the police, who assured us they would look into it. Please, everyone, stay vigilant; these individuals clearly cannot be trusted!

That was the most bizarre phone call I've ever had! I almost wish the caller had put on a British Telecom act instead. I picked up and he just started chuckling away when I said 'hello,' then bizarrely claimed he was my former partner. Absolutely bonkers!

Received a rather dubious call from a woman claiming to be affiliated with Carphone Warehouse. I promptly ended the call, only for the very same number to ring me again shortly after. A few weeks back, I had a run-in with a chap who also attempted to peddle some unsolicited info. Despite my clear request for him to cease contacting me, he had the audacity to grill me on my reasons for not wanting to engage, while still going on about some so-called 'great deals'... absolutely ridiculous! These individuals are nothing short of imbeciles and deceitful, preying on the vulnerable. I truly hope karma catches up with them, as their actions have the potential to hurt others both emotionally and financially. Truly shameful behaviour!

I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse, touting a half-price Samsung Galaxy S20. I mentioned I would mull it over and asked them to ring me back in a few days. However, I've touched base with CPW and they've assured me that this number isn't linked to them at all-definitely sounds like a scam to me. I’m curious to see if they bother to get in touch again!
