Got called twice by the exact same scam yesterday. Both times it was that dodgy recorded message warning about some suspicious bank activity and telling me to press 2 to speak to someone dodgy. One of the calls actually came from a number right in my area code, so this scammer is pretending to be local to trick people. Any legit organisation wouldn’t ring you up with a pre-recorded message out of the blue like that.
