Just got back from holiday and found this number had rung me like five times without leaving a voicemail. I’m the secretary at a club and after looking over our members list, nobody there has this number. Looks like it might be some sort of sales or scam call, so I’m not bothering to ring back.

Just had my second ring from them. Seemed like a call from around here, so I picked up. Awkward silence for a moment, and then out of the blue, an automated voice chirped, “goodbye.” What a nuisance, it really gets on my nerves!

It was all rather silent, and then out of nowhere, I was met with an automated "goodbye" before the line went dead. Quite strange, isn't it?
