I recently had the rather unpleasant experience of a chap with a thick overseas accent calling me, claiming to be from Virgin and warning me about a scam. After I hung up, he persisted and immediately dialled me from a string of new numbers-0131 5743929, 01214039740, and 02035243338, all within mere minutes! He was excessively pushy, clearly hoping that by switching numbers, I’d eventually answer again. I did take his call the first three times, but it definitely felt quite dodgy! I'm based in Leeds, by the way. Cheers, Ann
