Sounds like an energy scam to me. The caller wanted to know the homeowner’s first name straight away. When I tried asking why they were ringing, they just kept repeating their office hours instead of answering properly. The voice was a woman’s, but it didn’t sound quite right - maybe some kind of AI? Felt very suspicious.

I kept asking what company she was from, but the voice just kept repeating the same line over and over. It sounded totally robotic and never gave a proper answer.
