Got a call from a firm called “Prestige” saying they were switching me over to a business phone plan supposedly for EE. Thing is, I haven’t had EE as my provider for nearly a year now, so their info’s definitely outdated. Doesn’t seem like they’re following GDPR rules at all.

Received a call from this number earlier today. I answered because it had the same area code (Gloucester) and looked somewhat like a number linked to one of my clients. To my surprise, it was "Aaron from O2," claiming that I was fortunate as my account was chosen for an upgrade. He then launched into a rather aggressive pitch for a new contract. Although I’m an O2 customer, I’m quite satisfied with my current arrangement, so I quickly terminated the conversation. O2 does have a store in Gloucester, but that number doesn’t belong to them, which makes me think this could either be a call centre representing O2 or possibly a scam attempting to fish for personal account information.

Attempted to reach out on two occasions, but there was no voicemail left. When I tried returning the call, it just went on ringing with no answer in sight.

I received a missed call from this number earlier, so I decided to ring it back. To my surprise, I got a message saying it was an invalid number. Seems to be another cold call attempt, I reckon.
