Today I got a call from this number. The guy on the line wanted to speak to my husband and used his first name. I told him my husband wasn’t here, and he said he’d ring back later tonight. Just as I was about to ask who it was, the call ended. Only after hanging up did I notice it was my mobile they’d called, which is under my name.

It came up as a local number, but it turned out to be some bloke from Liverpool pretending to do a survey on car insurance claim satisfaction for some insurance firm. I’d had a call before from Liverpool too, so I blocked it. I reckon blocking it gave them a hint of where I am and my number, so they started using a local-looking number to get me to pick up. When I rang back, there was this odd message saying
unrecognised number !!!! Pretty fishy if you ask me.
