I received a phone call from this number earlier on. A gentleman on the other end inquired about my husband using his first name. When I mentioned he wasn't around, he mentioned he’d ring back later in the evening. Just as I was about to find out who was calling, the line went dead. It only dawned on me afterwards that they had reached my mobile, which is registered solely in my name.

I received a call that appeared to be from a local number, but it was actually some bloke from Liverpool, insisting he was conducting a survey for car insurance claims on behalf of First Call. Quite suspicious, really-I'd had a dodgy attempt from a Liverpool number not long ago. I blocked that one, but it seems they might have figured out my number and location, trying to lure me in with this so-called local dialling. Oddly enough, when I attempted to return the call, it greeted me with a message stating "unrecognised number." Very shady business, if you ask me!
