Got a call really early this morning that woke me up. A woman with an Indian accent said she was from UK Essentials doing a survey. She asked me to confirm the name and address they had on file. When I asked why they needed that info, she mumbled something and quickly hung up. I looked it up online and the company that came up was https://ukessential.com which seems sketchy. If I’m right about this, I might waste some time messing with their phone lines using my unlimited minutes to make international calls and maybe send them some rude emails they didn’t ask for.

I received a rather curious phone call from someone who started reciting an address that was quite ancient and completely wrong for me. When I told them that it wasn’t mine, I inquired about the purpose of their call, only to have them abruptly end the conversation.
