This morning, I got a call from some lass with a thick Liverpool accent, rattling off some script about a crash I supposedly had three years back. I decided to have a bit of fun and told her yeah, I’d been in one. She got all chuffed, nearly fell off her chair with excitement. Things were going fine until she asked if anyone else was in the car with me. When I said the ‘passenger’ had died in the crash that never actually happened, she went completely silent. After that, the line just went dead as if it’d been wiped clean. Proper bizarre!

Got a phone call from some outfit called First Response about an accident I supposedly had, which is strange because I haven’t had one in years. When I tried to get their solicitor’s details, they flat out wouldn’t share any names. Then I asked for where they’re based and again they dodged giving me an address. The number they used was a Stow on the Wold one, but turns out there’s no firm like this registered there. Feels like this company shouldn’t be operating at all.

I keep getting calls from a bunch of numbers all from the same range. They even ring me on a Sunday morning, which is so annoying. One of the numbers I recognized was 01451 504213. Best just to ignore these calls - caller ID shows 01451 504213.

Got a call from a firm called First Response about an accident claim, even though I haven’t been in any accident for over three years. When I tried to get the names of their solicitors, they wouldn’t tell me. I also asked for their business address, but again, they refused. The phone number they used showed as a Stow on the Wold area, but there’s no such company listed there. Honestly, I don’t think this lot should be allowed to trade - caller was from First Response.
