Got a call with a clear automated voice saying my internet was about to get cut off and they asked me to respond. When I tried to ask them some questions, they just wouldn’t reply back.

Got a call on my landline yesterday around 7:30 pm from someone claiming to be BT, told them to buzz off. Then at 9:15 this morning, another call came through from a different number, but I gave them the exact same reply. Such persistent callers!

Not sure but it feels like the same con from last week about my internet box. They kept stumbling over the word 'router' so obviously not legit, BT reps never talk like that. I wonder who’s leaking these number batches to these cheats and why there’s no stronger safeguards for us. I’ve blocked the number but I’m sure they'll ring from a different one next time. It just goes on and on.

Got a call supposedly from Talk Talk saying there was an issue with my router. But I’m actually with Virgin Media, so it was obviously a scam. Not the slickest attempt I’ve seen though.

Some guy with a happy tone, sounded like he wasn’t from here, called saying there was an issue with my internet. Total scam, ended the call straight away.

I answered the phone but ended up hanging up straight away.

There was loads of racket in the background before a lady with an Asian accent spoke up, saying she was Annie from BT's technical support. I jumped in and said, “Let me guess, you’re calling to say my BT broadband’s getting cut off.” She hung up right away after that!

Got a call from some lady saying there was an issue with my internet. Pretty clear she was ringing from overseas and it was one of those dodgy scams.
