I listed my cousin's car for sale on Gumtree using my number. Within like five minutes, I got calls from seven different phone numbers, all from a different town. They kept saying there had been an accident involving me. When I told them I didn’t own a car, they suggested maybe I was a passenger in an accident. Then when I denied that too, they asked if anyone in my family had been involved in an accident. It all felt really odd and kinda fishy.
