Just got a call saying £300 was withdrawn from my bank and sent to some shady person - sounds like a total scam to me. I’ve had to block the number, that’s the second one today. So annoying!

Got two calls today already. The first time I picked up, a robotic woman’s voice claimed to be from the bank’s fraud dept, saying there’d been two transactions on my account this morning. Supposedly, one was a £300 charge from Amazon, and the other was £1,474 for something overseas. It asked me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone. I said nothing and after a bit they just cut off. Then they rang again and I kept quiet again, and they quickly hung up. Pure scammers, they really need to be stopped.

I reckon this might be a con. I received a call from this number and was informed that £300 along with an additional £1000 had been withdrawn from my bank account today.

Just received a call about thirty minutes back from someone claiming to be from my bank's fraud department. They were prattling on about a supposed £300 Amazon transaction and a £1200 overseas transfer. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!
