Scam alert! Got a call from someone with a really thick Asian accent pretending to be from Talk Talk, trying to get me to give them control of my computer. The number showed as Stowmarket, Suffolk, which is clearly a dodgy call ID. It’s hilarious how they always use these old-fashioned English names despite struggling with English themselves! I've received six calls today from what seems to be an overseas number. I’ve blocked it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just hand my details off to their mates to keep harassing me. Honestly, it's becoming quite unbearable. If this is linked to TalkTalk, they really need to rethink their tactics for attracting new customers, as there's no way I'm signing up with them after this experience.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent but the connection was terrible. They claimed there was an issue with my router, but when I asked for details, they couldn’t explain what was wrong! Then, out of nowhere, the call just ended. I tried ringing back to confront them, but the number wouldn’t let me through. Proper frustrating! :(

Got a phone call earlier claiming they were from TalkTalk and saying they needed to get into my laptop or PC. I didn’t give them any info but somehow they were able to cut my internet connection. Then they just ended the call. Definitely a scam, so make sure you tell your internet service provider about these calls and warn your mates and family to watch out!

I got a call from someone saying she was "Katy" and claimed to be from TalkTalk tech support, telling me there was a virus on my computer. I told her I don’t even own a computer so she must have got the wrong info. I said I’d report this to TalkTalk because their support team clearly has the wrong details. When I asked her for her full name, where she was calling from, and her manager’s name, she just hung up on me! This is like the third time I’ve had calls like this this week.

i keep getting calls from different numbers saying they’re from talk talk, they’re obviously trying to trick you into letting them access your computer. it’s so annoying, they ring me like 3 or 4 times every single day. one of the numbers they used recently was 01268154862, on the same day as the others. Got a call from a lady saying she was from our internet company, but I knew it was a scam so I just ended the call. Then about an hour later, the same number rang back and tried the same story. I’ve now blacklisted the number, fingers crossed they don’t bother me again.
