Today around 4:15pm, I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft, warning me my PC was hacked. I already knew that and sorted it, but I played along just to find out his spiel (and kill some time). I reckon he grabbed my number from my email signature - maybe that’s something to learn from. After a bit, I told him off in no uncertain terms to get lost. Strange thing is, their number wasn’t even blocked - what nerve!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was calling from Microsoft’s global tech support. She told me my computer was being hacked from multiple countries and insisted she needed to fix it right away. I played along at first but didn’t follow her instructions. When I called her out and said she was a scammer, she snapped back with, "Yeah, I am, and I’ll hack into your computer and nick all your bloody info!” Then she abruptly hung up while I was chuckling at how ridiculous she sounded. Really awful folks preying on the vulnerable with these scams.

Got a call from a bloke named Michael claiming to be from Microsoft. I told him I’m on the TPS list and that I’d report his number, then he just hung up on me.

Got three calls earlier today from some bloke called Michael Evans claiming he’s from Microsoft tech support at 2 Kingdom Street, Paddington. He was saying my computer got hacked and told me to sit in front of it. I told him we don’t even use Microsoft, and then he started yelling at me, going on about how I always deny having Microsoft but I actually do. Proper rude!

Some bloke called claiming to be from Microsoft tech support. I told him to stop bugging me or I'd call the cops for harassment. He began yelling, but I just told him to get off my phone, and in the end, he hung up.

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting that my computer was under threat of hacking. I calmly informed him that if I remained on the line and shared any details, he would likely be the one trying to hack me. I promptly hung up on him. It’s high time these scams were put to an end!

They just rang me up, and I didn't hold back telling them to quit pulling scams, using some pretty strong words too.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Microsoft. I just told him I wasn't interested and then left the phone off the hook for a long time so they couldn't get back to me. Honestly, they reckon everyone’s daft enough to fall for their tricks, but not me! They’re just blatant scammers.

01449400670 - When I picked up, there was a pause, then a bloke with a thick Asian accent claimed to be from the Microsoft tech team. I asked him his name and he said Michael. Next, I requested his address, but he just repeated "Microsoft technical dept." I insisted, saying I needed the address for a TPS complaint, and he just told me to "f**k off" before hanging up.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Microsoft, telling me there was a fault with my computer. I asked which one he meant, since we've got a couple of Windows PCs at home. He told me to do some stuff on the computer, which I just faked doing really. After a bit, I got fed up and hung up. Then he rang back and wanted to know why I'd ended the call. I just told him I knew it was a scam and hung up again. Funny thing is, he didn’t even bother masking his number.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, saying my laptop or computer had an issue. I told them I don’t own a laptop or computer, and they just ended the call. They've called before and those times they tried to say my computer was under attack or something, but never showed me proof or anything. It’s just annoying these fake calls keep coming.

Got a call from someone saying they were Microsoft tech support, sounded American. They said they had proof some hacker was messing with my phone. They also said they had my Microsoft registration info, but when I asked them to verify my IP address a couple times, they just hung up on me.

Picked up the call and was met with that all-too-familiar pause before anyone bothered to say anything (likely dialled through some automated system), so I ended the call before they could get a word in. Based on another report I saw earlier today, I reckon I made the right call-might be wise for you to follow suit!

I received a rather alarming call from Microsoft claiming my computer had been compromised. There was an Asian chap on the line who wouldn't take no for an answer about accessing my machine. Honestly, he was rather abrasive in his approach.
