My landline kept ringing on and off all day, so I finally answered it. A bloke with what sounded like an overseas accent was on the other end, but then they just cut off. I seriously doubt this was from anywhere local like Stowmarket. Feels like some sort of scam where they're forwarding a UK number to trick you.

My landline has gone off multiple times today, only to stop as abruptly as it started. This time, I decided to answer, and it was a chap on the other end with a distant accent. Just when I thought the conversation was about to kick off, the line went silent. I highly doubt this is a call originating from Stowmarket in the UK. Seems to me like it's a dodgy scammer using a spoofed UK number!
