4 yearsI received a rather peculiar phone call on my private landline on the 29th of April, 2022, around five twenty-three in the afternoon. The caller claimed to be from Amazon, stating that my Prime membership had been automatically renewed for £85. Now, I'm rather certain it was meant to be £79, which I had only just settled. They prompted me to press 1 if I wished to cancel or 2 if I wanted to speak with a representative. It's been quite a while since I’ve been bothered by such calls, and considering I recently made a payment, I can’t help but feel there's been a lapse in security somewhere.
