3 yearsI missed a call earlier and decided to call back. On answering, I was met with a robotic voice speaking in a nice English/Irish accent - like someone who’s been abroad for years but still sounds quite polite. It said something like, “Thank you for contacting Britain’s Savings Expenses. To unsubscribe, press 2. If you want to chat, press 5. And if you want to get in touch later, that’s fine too.” That was all the message said. I’ve never come across them before and have absolutely no clue why they rang me in the first place. Another annoying spam caller, now blocked!Britain3 yearsI didn’t pick up since it was an unknown caller. They didn’t bother leaving any message either, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.3 yearsThis number kept ringing me, and since I had no clue who it was or anyone from Barry, Wales, I decided to look it up here. Turns out, it wasn’t anyone I know, so I’ve just blocked it and marked it as spam.BarryWales3 yearsSo this bloke called with an African accent, claiming he was ringing from somewhere in the UK, telling me straight away he wasn’t trying to sell anything. He mentioned the call would only take 40 seconds and already knew my name and address, which was a bit bloody weird. Then he started asking stuff like my age group, what washing machine brand I had (which I had no idea about), and if I had life insurance. When I asked him why he needed all this info, he suddenly got pretty rude, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.UK3 yearsSo this bloke called me with a thick Indian accent, wasn’t trying to sell anything but oddly knew my name. He told me the call would only be 40 seconds long. Then he asked if I drove a car, which I said no to. After that, he questioned if my name was ‘first and last name’. When I told him no, he got quite snappy! He straight up told me to go away! I just laughed, like mate, you were the one who rang me in the first place! Typical.3 yearsI picked up but the person on the other end never said who they were, just started firing questions at me. I ended the call not long after.Submit Your Own Report (01446 612102)
