My mum just got a call from this number saying £500 had been taken from her Visa card, but it definitely wasn’t Virgin calling. Since she’s just lost her husband, she got quite upset hearing that. I told her it was probably a scam and to ignore whatever they said. She was still anxious, so I told her to get in touch with her bank, and luckily the bank confirmed it was all a trick.
