Got a call from someone in Barry. They started asking me about the brands of my fridge, hoover and washing machine, also wanted to know if I’ve got private health insurance. They asked about my utility providers too. I just told them I wasn’t sure about anything. Felt like a total scam, like they were fishing for details so they could pretend to be from insurance or utility firms later on. Definitely didn’t trust it.

Avoid this lot at all costs! They gave me a bell yesterday from this number, claiming they could assist me in reclaiming some PPI. They were touting a refund that seemed too good to be true. It's blatantly a scam!

I believe it was DMR Financial Services that got in touch with me. When I expressed my disinterest, the representative was quite courteous and simply acknowledged my response with an "Alright, that's fine." It wasn't a typical pushy sales pitch at all. Nevertheless, I’ve decided to add them to my blocked contacts list just to be safe.
