On the 5th of April 2017, I kept getting calls from 01223 646291, which I just ignored because it was so annoying. After a bunch of missed calls, I decided to call back and found out it was this company called Exclusive Breakaways. Looks like they’re using a different number again.

They were really nasty and hung up right after I answered. Keeps switching to different local area codes too. Total scam, watch out!

Over the past three days, this number has bothered us six times, even though we're on the TPS and the number is ex-directory. We just let unknown calls go to voicemail now, as answering seems pointless. It’s really frustrating having the phone ring all day long, especially when you think being ex-directory and signed up to TPS would stop this nonsense. Feels like those protections mean nothing!

Bloody hell, this number rang my brand new unlisted landline and I have no clue how they got hold of it. I switched from my old number precisely to dodge these nonstop nuisance calls. I'm on the TPS too, but that hasn't stopped them one bit, neither on my old line nor now with this new one. It's beyond irritating. "Breakaway holidays"? Yeah, no thanks, get lost!!!

It seems like this firm somehow got ahold of your phone number even though the person calling says they can’t see it. They probably have your details stored somewhere. You might want to try the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) - it’s a free thing where you can sign up to stop getting unwanted marketing or sales calls. It’s basically the official list to opt out of those sorts of calls.

I got a call from this number and the person on the other end knew my name straight away, then tried to chat about some mini holiday. I told them I wasn’t interested at all and to stop calling me, then just ended the call. We’re on the TPS list and have our number unlisted, so how on earth are they getting hold of it? These annoying calls should be banned, and the companies behind them should be slapped with big fines. Honestly, who would say yes to a mini break from a random cold call? No one, right? I’ve blocked the number now.
