My phone, which is an Android, flagged the call as a scam and I ended up just hanging up on it.

i picked up cause it showed up as a local number, i usually ignore calls from numbers i dont know. it turned out to be some robotic voice claiming my internet was about to be disconnected due to an issue with my ip or something dodgy like that. they said to press 1 to speak to a tech person. i just hung up straight away, totally a scam.

Got a call from this number around 10.12 on 27th Feb. Normally I don’t pick up unknown numbers, but this one seemed like it was from a local landline so I answered. It was some robotic voice warning me my internet was about to be disconnected due to some issue with my IP address. They told me to press 1 to speak to a "technician." I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.
