My phone, which is an Android, flagged the call as a scam and I ended up just hanging up on it.

i picked up cause it showed up as a local number, i usually ignore calls from numbers i dont know. it turned out to be some robotic voice claiming my internet was about to be disconnected due to an issue with my ip or something dodgy like that. they said to press 1 to speak to a tech person. i just hung up straight away, totally a scam.

I received a call from this number at precisely 10:12 on the 27th of February. Typically, I tend to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar digits, but this one appeared to be a local landline. To my surprise, it was an automated voice informing me that my internet service was at risk of being disconnected due to a breach of my IP address. The message went on with the usual drivel and prompted me to press 1 to speak with a technician. I promptly disconnected the call. It's obviously a scam!
