I just spoke with someone from this number for quite a while, about 15 minutes or so. He finally came clean and said he works for some scam call centre. Definitely not SKY INSURANCE calling you. And it’s not even from Barry like they claim - the call’s actually coming from Mumbai. Watch out for this one.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky Assurance saying my TV warranty ended. Thing is, my telly's barely 2 months old and still has nearly a year left on warranty. When I questioned the bloke, Ed or whatever his name was, he started calling me names and shouting insults. These lot are an absolute nightmare and nothing seems to be able to make them stop.

Was making tea tonight when this number popped up. Normally I don't pick up if it's not a name I know, but this one seemed a bit familiar. Answered and this bloke called "Neil" started speaking in an Asian accent. He was all like “Hi, this is Neil calling from…” and before he could finish, I lost it and told him straight he was a total con artist, a scammer, and he needed to quit pestering my phone and piss off! Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Sky TV, even though I’m not signed up with them at all. He started pushing loads of different deals, so I cheekily asked if he wanted my bank info or card details. He said my card details, which was a big red flag. Told him he was a scammer and refused to play along. Then he swore at me, gave me a rude name and just hung up. Honestly, just ignore calls like this and block the number straight away.
