Got a call from a guy saying he was ringing about what home upgrades I might be eligible for, mentioning that they'd received loads of cash from the Scottish Government to help improve energy efficiency in houses here. I told him mine was a new build and didn’t need extra insulation or anything like that. Then he asked if I knew a Hyacinth Bouquet because apparently I sounded a bit like her. After that, he just ended the call.

Got a call about the home improvement fund from the Scottish government at around 6.21pm. They started asking what kind of house I have. I just ended the call straight away. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were Thermal Homes, the guy had a Scottish accent. Sounded dodgy to me, probably just another scam trying to trick people.
