01444771988 My other half got a call from this number around 12:40pm on 18th April 2019. A woman on the line claimed she was from BT, saying something about our broadband being hacked and that it'd be switched off for 24 hours. She told him to get in touch with some 'server' or 'technician' - can’t quite remember which. He told her "I’m not the one who uses the computer, it’s my missus," then asked her to hang on while he went to find her. Just after that, he heard the other end drop the call. She spoke with a clear English accent and sounded quite straightforward. We only got this call that one time. I rang BT myself to check, and they confirmed it was a scam - said BT wouldn’t ever call in that manner.
