I received a rather courteous call this afternoon. The gentleman introduced himself as Tom and proceeded to inform me that I hadn’t claimed the PPI compensation I apparently deserve. I kindly reminded him that my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which prohibits such unsolicited calls. He attempted to persist and drawn me back into conversation, but I made it clear that I was wrapping up the call. I then thanked him for his time before disconnecting.
