I received a rather unsettling call from someone with a foreign accent claiming to be affiliated with a funeral services firm. When I pressed her on how she obtained my phone number-having explicitly registered to avoid such unsolicited calls-she replied that my details were part of their 'database'. I wasn’t having any of it, so I firmly told her to leave me alone before abruptly ending the conversation.

I've noticed I've been getting a couple of calls each day from this number. The strange thing is, the caller usually hangs up before I can answer. Quite odd, isn't it?
