I got a call from 0144439120, and the funny bit is, I’m not linked to Microsoft or even Google in any way. I just ended up messing about, keeping them on the line for ages. Felt like a bit of a win in the end, wasting their time!

This number keeps ringing me, but when I pick up, there’s just silence before the call disconnects. I've had enough of it, so I’ve decided to block the caller. They’ve tried reaching me three times just today, but that's the end of it! No more interruptions from them!

They've already attempted to get in touch with me four times today, but when I try to call back, it just states that the number isn't recognised. Quite odd, isn't it?

I received five calls from this number today. Each time I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end. When I attempted to return the call, it just wouldn’t connect. Quite strange, really!

My grandad got tricked by this exact number and ended up losing loads of cash, so watch out!

Some bloke called me claiming to be Peter from Microsoft, saying my PC had been hacked and that they had to block it off right away. He went on about hackers using my computer for gambling and warned if I didn’t let him access it, I’d be held responsible for any illegal stuff later. I told him to jog on and hung up, but he phoned back proper annoyed I wasn’t playing ball. When I asked for a number to check he was legit, he gave me one - luckily I Googled it before doing anything. He sounded pretty convincing, so just watch out for this one.

This morning at 8:15, I received a call informing me that a hacker had infiltrated my computer. The caller insisted that I boot it up so they could help resolve the issue. They requested I give them a ring back at the number listed above. When I refused to comply, the chap became rather irate.

Got a call claiming to be from Microsoft. We played along and answered their questions, asking them stuff like “where are you calling from?” Eventually, I told them we were onto their scam and that the way they spoke didn’t sound anything like Microsoft at all. Watch out for these dodgy calls!

Never trust these callers - they’re definitely not from Microsoft. Letting them access your computer could either wreck it or end up charging you loads. If you do let them in, you’ll probably have to get in touch with an IT tech to sort it all out and reinstall everything!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, asking for my bank info and warning me about some vague consequences if I didn’t cooperate. Wouldn’t trust them for a second.
