When I tried ringing back, it just said the number wasn’t registered or something like that. When I told him I wasn’t going to pay, he gave me an hour to sort it or he’d "handle it his way" before hanging up. He asked if I wanted the money paid into my bank or by a cheque. Initially, I went for the bank transfer but then changed my mind and said I’d prefer a cheque instead. He told me a solicitor would visit my house to deliver it. When he asked why I wanted a cheque, I explained that I didn’t want to share my bank details since I’ve been asked for them quite a few times lately.
