Got a call from this firm, claiming I’d taken out a loan with them. When I asked who handed over my info, or how much the loan was, they just wouldn’t say. I told them flat out I don’t have any loan and don’t intend to get one, but then they threatened to debit £99 from my bank as some “cancellation fee”. They didn’t follow any data protection rules either. Honestly, the whole thing seems dodgy and the caller was really unpleasant - they called themselves Quick Loans.
